I’m a big fan of embroidery books from Japan. Photos look amazing, and step-by-step instructions are crystal clear.

Some books by Atelier Fil (Hiroko Sei & Shizue Yasui) are fantastic.

I decided to try a 3D violet. I’m using some wires (#34 and #30) and DMC stranded cotton.

Here’s the result. It’s so cold outside, but a bit of Spring has come to my room.
