As a stitcher at Royal School of Needlework Embroidery Studio, I sometimes get an opportunity to work on very interesting projects. Game of Thrones project was one of them. A huge embroidery artwork was created to mark the release of Season 5 DVD. It was a collaborative project with The Embroiderers’ Guild, Fine Cell Work and Hand & Lock. We were supposed to keep quiet for a while, so I nearly forgot to write about it on this blog…

HBO® marks release of season 5 of GAME OF THRONES on Blu-ray and DVD with epic large scale embroidery displayed in London Art College Communities across the UK have come together in support of one of the biggest TV shows in the world, GAME OF THRONES, to create a unique piece of art to mark the release of GAME OF THRONES: The Complete Fifth Season on Blu-ray™ and DVD. The 6m x 4m embroidery will be on display in Central Saint Martins College on Friday 18th-Saturday 19th March.
